I like the way people with partial/incomplete understanding of "science" constantly remind us of how wrong it is without any prior data to back up their "feeling" or subsequent opinions. A product does what it does, not what someone says it does. We have had scientific understanding of transducer behavior for a century now, yet so many cling to false assumptions.
Follow Ups:
I'm bit taken back by this nose thumbing you seem to have taken.
Even after 50 years of speaker building, I don't claim to not be willing to learn, but kinda soured on the self confidence arrogance that too many in the Hi-Eff end of the hobby.
Too much "my way only way" and aggressive impatience.
Got personally from Paul Klipsch
Got personally on many occasions from Dr Edgar
Got personally from fellow hobbyists at gatherings.

Ease up might be a better approach to growing a Hi-Eff community
OK, then let me pull you back forward from your taken abackness.I am not trying to be arrogant, just Accurate. Historically and currently. Based on my half century plus experience I believe in statements with DATA to back what is, seemingly, just another opinion without supporting the seemingly truncated comments that so often appear with zero data to back up the claim. I only want the truth, as so few can handle it. PWK called curves "dirty pictures" for a reason.
