Nice speakers, certainly preferable to many of the glorifed TV speakers bandied about here. But for whatever reason the OP wants "high efficiency".

Ten watts ought to do just fine with ESL57s in a small room, but they are a bit too polite if your musical tastes favor 70s rock, jazz, etc. Led Zeppelin would not be as well served. :)
On the other hand, would a (presumably) 12-14' long room work with VOTTs? Don't they need more space between them and the listener for the drivers to blend well?
