Hi Guys,
I saw these speakers on craiglist and thought somebody might be interested in them. They look like JBL 4648 boxes with 2360A horns and 2045J drivers. The horns seem to be a good deal. My house is way to small for them. No affiliation, just passing along the info.

      and they appear to have been in a dusty environment for quite some time. One woofer has a tear in it but the seller came down off the price to compensate. They just barely fit in the back of my little Toyota truck for the ride home.

        I use mine as my main 2 channel stereo speakers. I have no horn shout with my jbl 2360A 31" x 31" biradial horns but I use tad td-4001 drivers instead of the jbl compression drivers. You can price the repair of that one woofer or simply scrounge a single replacement from epay. Nice job scoring them! They are well worth the effort to dust them off and repair that one woofer. :) BTW, did yours come with a crossover? Mine did not and some of these were meant to be biamplified. For what it is worth I have driven my pair with my 1.8 wpc 45 vacuum tube mono blocks using a added on 2-way passive speaker crossover. The 45 mono amps now drive the horns and my 300b or my klimo push pull el34 mono blocks drive the bass bins with my marchand active speaker crossover. You will have a lot of fun with them and they can easily shame a lot of higher priced speakers. John
