ok can anybody let me know if it is possible to place a dummy load, resistor ,or whatever, before the + to a 8ohms speaker and fool the amp into thinking it,s a 4ohm speaker????
any help welcomed

A resistor is a waste of time, money, and power.
What you want is an autoformer.
dont think you have realy got the message, have fitted a 8ohm speaker in a cab that contains a 4ohm systen, want to know if there is any way of fooling the amp into thinking all the speakers in the cab are 4ohm,by fitting some sort or resistor or whatever to the 8ohm speaker so the amp sees it all as a full range 4ohm cab.
