Hey guys,
Nobody else commenst on e.g. the Altec 288 serie, or the Altec 808. Maybe the BMS 4590? or some B&C drivers?
cheers,
Jacob

IMO the 288s are very good. When combined with the Altec 515B you'd have the finest reproduction of 100-10,000 hz available. I think the JBL 2435 beats the 288s in the highs though.
In 1" drivers I'm keen on the GPA 902, I'm using a pair now. Same driver as the Altec 902.
I guess you mean 500-10,000hz or do you get good response down to 100hz with the 515B, because that is a dream I have!!
Have you heard the GPA 399?
I think is their version of the 288.
Cheers
Oh yeah, the 515 will get down to 100, no problem. Will actually go deeper in a proper vented box, ole GM is the guy who knows all that.
I was using 515Bs in 825 cabinets so below 125-150 was down in level as is normal with any driver in that box.
