Iam listening to my thrift find 40.00 klipsch quartet along side my polk sda1c,s which pair would you keep?

Those old Polk SDA series were really quite pleasant sounding. If you DID have to get rid of one or the other, I'd probably sell off the Polks (would probably fetch a fair amount of $$$). If you decide to sell the Klipshs - you could probably get 8 to 9 times what you paid for them if they are in good shape.

Probably the Quartets, but I'm willing to bet they'd benefit greatly from crossover mods. Audiokarma.org or the Klipsch Forum would be two places to check out, lots of Klipschheads on either site.

Judging by the looks of the cabinet, still one hell of a deal you got though :)
