A new collaborative effort between Dustin O'Halloran and Adam Wiltzie with support from Peter Broderick and Hildur Gudnadottir in the ambient/new-classical genre due to be released in September. Complete album samples below. I'm putting it on my must order list. Article in The Guardian at the link below.A Winged Victory For The Sullen (EXCLUSIVE FULL ALBUM STREAM) by erasedtapes

A really nice album. The piano is not as subtle, nuanced or creatively related to the larger movement as I would like at times... but perhaps that is the intent, which I would not argue with.I very much like this album and it will be in high rotation for a while... at least until one of your other tips arrives. The more I listen the more I like.
Edit: after a few listens I'd now like to qualify the comments above; I feel this occurs only occasionally and is intentional.
Edit 2: Now I don't don't notice that at all... only that some tracks are a little more dynamic than others. The piano work is lovely. I am guessing I had needed spend some time away from Arvo Part's Alina before before appreciating this album for what it is. Ah, the curse of relative thinking.
Thanks for putting me on to this album.
Cheers,
