I've been evaluating lots of gear, so I haven't had time to post here. But, of the current music, Erasure's Light At The End Of The World is getting lots of listens here. This album finally returns Erasure to the type of sound that made them popular in the 80s. Unlike the past few albums, Light has fewer slow songs, and more mid-tempo numbers.

I guess matched pairs of cable supports would have been really expensive!!!
Did you ever like the Beastie Boys? I just picked up, from Starbucks of all places, their new CD called 'The Mix Up' which is a collection of 12 instrumental tracks - very good and fun stuff there!!!

Yo Marc, how ya been?! Have you been building the new house? How's married life?
Unfortunately, I haven't kept up with the Beastie Boys. They came by a couple months ago, perhaps to the Greek Theater in Berkeley. My friend saw them, and said that part of the set includes them DJing. She said they have such variety in their material, that they're really ahead of the curve.
No house building yet and not much house planning either :( Married life is just fine, but then what's supposed to be different anyway?!?!
I remember buying one of the last Beastie albums, The Five Borroughs (sp?) but can't say I've really heard it, ya know? This new one is great though!

"I HATE THESE CABLES"
:-)
Just for one moment, I heard somebody call,
Looked beyond the day in hand, theres nothing there at all
Then just walk away...But the Pet Shop Boys' Fundamental is not bad, either, and is keeping lil' Aiden away from hatin' the cables.
You are a brave man...
But, I'm betting that you were also watching closely... :-)
Cheers,

Aiden discovers that sound comes out of these round things.
Actually, I was listening to some old (well, 1987 or so) Cacophony, when Aiden checked out the Totem Hawk's drivers. When Totem's designer, Vince, came up with the Hawk, he probably had no idea some baby would use it to listen to Cacophony's "Speed Metal Symphony."
That is the scariest photo I've ever seen.
