Wolfson dac's

I usually listen using my Yamaha amp, but I wanted to hear the wolfson
dac's in my asus sound card, so I went pcm and am using the asus xonar
audio center to increase the bass. So far it really is clear and full.
Anyone out there experimenting with their cans like this? I use the Sennheiser HD 428's newest cans for me.
