Going to be doing some mixing for a friend, and will be doing late night hours for a change. I want a pair of cans that will be good for electro house music, need to hear the bass properly. I figure most cans will do fine but I wanted to see if anyone here has specific input for me.
Running them into a PreSonus 22vsl which is hooked up to my PC.
I just want to invest in a good pair of cans, and the main use professionally will be the Electro mixes, and I figure anything professional enough will be just fine for general listening as well.
Thanks in advance. :)
What I'm used to speaker wise are a pair of Krk Rokit 8s and the Krk10s Sub. Been told these speakers exaggerate bass slightly. Wanting to get cans that will work well, or not be too unsynchronized. What I'm doing is for people who will be using sound systems that pump bass you know, so I've gotta be careful.
Any and all advice is appreciated! I grew up listening to class rock and a bit of heavier alternative rock. So this is a bit of a change for me. Honestly though some of the 'electro' music these days is pretty decent. Never was a fan of it up until the last year or so. There's a lot of garbage out there though so it's easy to dismiss!
