I have the M11 driving a set of FH5 in ear monitors (amongst others), superb combination. The M11 drives some of my more efficient headphones
exceptionally well.
Follow Ups:
I used to own the M11, but I gave it to my son-in-law and upgraded to the M11 Pro. I still have the M11 Pro but I also bought the M15 and I use the M15 exclusively for my digital front-end even though I also own a Mytek Brooklyn Bridge. I keep my M15 plugged into the analog input on my Brooklyn Bridge.
I don't have the FH5 earphones but I have the FH3 and FH7. I use the FH3 earphones with a Bluetooth adapter. I think all the FiiO earphones sound very good for their price.

Concur with the earphone assessment, I'm amazed how the F5s sound. I can also see using the M15 as a source. Since I've gotten used to the characteristics of the M11 I really would like to hear the M15. They really seem to build quality products.
I really loved the two memory card ports on the M11. I was disappointed to see only one memory card port on the M11 Pro and the M15. However, the M15 really sounds better than the others with its analog volume control and the top-of-the-line AK4499EQ DAC chips. I just wish it had two micro SD memory card ports. DSD256 takes a lot of memory. ;-)
Best regards,
John Elison
