The blissful counterstroke-a considerable new message.
Follow Ups:
For some reason, I'm remembering those little cans of oily cat food with names like "Tender Vittles".Some clever engineering is going on with those "pull tab" type tin cans.
For instance, it's practically impossible to yank one open without spraying invisible oily droplets all over the kitchen counter. This is probably an intentional aspect of cat food can design.
You see, when those pull tabs are yanked back, the scent of the cat food is catapulted - invisibly sprayed - all over the kitchen counter top, where it is sure to attract the attention of cats, from that point on...
Cat owners further delude themselves when thinking that scolding a cat will keep them off of the kitchen counters when you leave for work. Cats only ever do what they want to do.
This fishy-smelling oil is penetrating, very hard to remove completely.
From that point on, the house cats swarm to that point on the counter top to beseech their owners for more.
But cat owners don't seem to notice that those cats up on the "clean" kitchen counter top just stepped out of a dirty kitty litter box...
"Love is Blind", I guess ?
My rule is: Any animal that needs to take a shit inside of my house is an animal I'll never own as a "pet"...

We've had as many as 6 at one time, currently only have one.
But she's an old girl and doesn't jump on counters anymore.
I can deal with them walking on everything a lot better than I can deal with the wet canned food. Stench-o-Rama.
The worst of them is "Ocean Whitefish." Smell more like it came from the Gowanus Canal.

Yeah, I think I remember that one. Not fondly.
