Years ago my kids gave me a one year subscription to spotify and I used it quite a bit. One thing I really liked about it was it's music suggestions. If I played an album after it was over, it would play other music that it thought I would like or was similar or whatever it's algorithm decided at the time. I discovered a lot of new artists and records I may have never heard otherwise. For me that was the best part of the service.
I would have kept Spotify if not for the sound quality, which was really poor. I've had Amazon's music service and Tidal but neither have been as good for discovering new music.

Qobuz & Tidal can be managed within Roon. Roon does a great job of making music suggestions based on what you were previously playing. For example, after playing Miles Davis Roon might choose to put on Duke Ellington or lesser known big band jazz. In addition to this automation Roon provides a network of relationship links and photos to various musicians who played on these albums for a wonderful trip through the rabbit hole of further discovery.
Not sure what Harmon International plans to do with Roon but licensing its GUI and music discovery to Tidal, Qobuz et.al would surely be a win/win for everyone.
