After 17 years of business Qobuz still can not get its GUI content right, so many artists photos missing, still very unorganized [having separate content for artist stage name and birth name], dead end queries that show the artist image but no content. And to make things worse, a Japanese subscription increases the mayhem by having part of the name in English and the other part in Katakana, in addition to separate results for stage name and birth name for the same artist.
Shame shame shame on Qobuz, what a mess.

Follow Ups:
I click the Artist Braintax, I go to an emply artist page that says nothing found with a like to the artist page. I click the link and no pic of him and some of his releases are there.
These are Alex Cortiz albums sourced from Qobuz - notice the Qobuz logo embedded in the album art thumb nail - but managed and displayed within Roon. So whatever metadata is missing from Qobuz - like album art, artist photos, bios, discovery, similar genre albums, etc. - Roon is able to deliver.Alex Cortiz in Roon

Since you seem to have Qobuz I'm also pretty sure you won't see that in the Qobuz app.
My complaint is about Qobuz not Roon.

"My complaint is about Qobuz not Roon."
Understand. My example is to simply show that Roon can make up for several Qobuz shortcomings.
not many others into obscure Dutch dance and British rap.
Guess I need to listen to more 'Mainstream' artists.
One in a million vs one of a million.
J.
I have content from numerous artists not found on Tidal/Qobuz. I find streaming a great extension to my local library.
Visuals unimportant.
that was a rhetorical statement, I have no intention on going mainstream to make my Qobuz be full of photos.I really don't care about the pic's parse, but the issue it causes with extra navigation and false dead-ends. There is also the issue of indexing some artists by their given-name vs their stage name. For example, if someone queries Eminem they get nothing, as Qobuz refers to him by his birth name Marshall Mathers.
In other cases querying artists by name in English comes back with nothing, but instead the artists name in Japanese Katakana....the artist is American not Japanese.
As you can see, these issues are not strictly about artists images but the whole integrity of the database.
But then again, I guess I could always use Roon to fill in the shortcomings of Qobuz and say "Qobuz is great", but then I wouldn't be judging Qobuz would I?

Could be an issue with software internationalization, but who knows. Companies struggle with developing software to be accessible and adaptable to different languages, cultures, and regions.Qobuz found Eminem and Victor Wooton, both with artist photos.
These screenshots are from the Qobuz web-player:
Alex Cortiz and Braintax were both missing artist photos in the Qobuz web-player.

viewing the page right now. Full bio, related artists, large discography, "appears on", etc.
Could be he needs a VPN to fake that he is logged into Qobuz from the USA ;-)
exactly who did just that years ago with Qobuz.
Like from Switzerland??
This was in the days when Qobuz was available in Europe but not in the US. I think Ivan303 signed up for his Qobuz streaming account while he was living in France. And then when he moved back to the US, he was able to keep his existing Qobuz account by using a French VPN.
In my case, I signed up for Qobuz using a "nom de plume", and going through a French VPN. However in my case it was just to get a download on Qobuz which was not otherwise available in the US - not to sign up for streaming. When Qobuz set up shop here in the US, I registered again, this time for the streaming too under my "real" ID - Chris from Lafayette. No VPN necessary anymore.
Thx for the memories.
Nope not using VPN and it's a Japanese account.

People have been known to create and sign-up for US based streaming accounts (Netflix for example) from outside the US via VPN. Just throwing some ideas out there.
Thanks Abe, I appreciate your inputs and thoughts on this topic, I think my frustrations with Qobuz might have come through on my posts.
I finally now have a reason to actually use my Roon account. Believe it or not I was an early adopter and purchased a life-long account, way back when. But never really used it due to its lack of Linux Roon-Remote support. Well I guess the stars have aligned in favor of Roon in my house. Roon seems to manage Qobuz better than Qobuz itself, I found a great and stable method to use Roon-Remote on my Linux computer and my Network player supports Roon. So I guess Roon/Qobuz it is....

I purchased my Roon lifetime license several years ago, too.Roon can be a little confusing because of its flexibility and Roon's own nomenclature. They dropped the idea of "Roon Core" and "Roon Server", for example. Now it's just Roon. But there are also separate components like Roon Remote for tablets and smartphones, and Roon Bridge to make your own DIY Roon network streamers (on Raspberry Pi in my case). And Roon ARC. Roon needs to be licensed on just one device, usually your server/NAS where your music resides. I have Roon installed on a few Macs around the house but the license is enabled on just one of them. Or I'll move the license to my Synology NAS should I run it there. This chart and the link below spell it out. Fun stuff!

Thanks
Up and running now, 99% of artists pics are there and everything looks fine.

I've been running Roon for a few years but being a creature of habit I often do the same things within the UI. There is so much more to Roon that I have yet to 'poke' and explore. Have fun!
but enough that Roon picks up on it.
So I clicked Alex Cortiz, I get no image of him and only two of his releases, I then need to click Go To Artist page to see more of his releases but still no pick of him.

I didn't run into the same problem with Qobuz. I had tried it for a year streaming onto my PC but I added a device to my audio system that offered support for Qobuz or Tidal via it's own app and figured that Tidal afforded the best chance that it would actually work I went in that direction.
The device, a Cambridge Audio MXN10, is also a Roon endpoint and I think ultimately I will be going in that direction.
I never had a problem with the Qobuz app running on the PC (other than it couldn't find outputs on the network). Just maybe I wasn't looking at the same artists and music as you.
not finding that to be the case here in the states.
I use their web interface primarily for searching new content and find it free from warts. Like Peter, most of my interaction is with server app.
Where are you finding that? Is it a Qobuz app you are using?I have used Tidal and now Qobuz and wouldn't dream of using their apps or even visiting their sites. All my music access is via my streamer's own BluOS app and it does all I want. Album cover artwork is displayed and track and Artist details are shown. A click of the 3 dots takes me to an Info page where I find more details of the album being played, often a Wikipedia or other page about the artist and often other artists the app thinks I may also like. The Search option is pretty good too.
Sound like you should ditch your present app and use one that offers access to Qobuz music with a better user interface. Or use Roon, though that entails extra hardware and a subscription.
PS - The BluOS app is available for use on Windows, Mac, iOS and Android, but you need a compatible streamer. These are mainly from Bluesound, NAD and others within the Group - Roksan, Cyrus, Peachtree, etc
