THIS kind!
Of course, it won't glow -- but you could add an 0Z4 regulator and get a cheery glow.
all the best,

Wow! Don Allen Made NICE Night Lights!
"Wow! Don Allen Made NICE Night Lights!"
Don has been gone for eight years, yet his gear lives on......
The amps are 807 monoblocks, with Audio Note iron..... I would have had Don build a set of these 807 monos for me if he were still around..... One of the best amplifiers I've ever heard.
The CD changer below is a Don Allen mod Philips CDC935 changer.... (I'm not the only one who still uses these machines.)
Hi,
I have the Phillips changer, Custom Preamp, a Cake Pan Amp, and used his mods for Forte speakers. Sold his 300B amp with the Lightning Bolt. Great gear.
Jeez, I didn't know he built a 300B amp..... He had disdain for that particular power tube due to its inherent microphonics.... I otherwise would have had such an amp built for me personally.

Hi M3, I have and keep switching out a 35 dollar FX01 little black 2 tube preamp that is awesome and has high build quality even though Chinese. It's tubes have little LED's under them which glow red.The power cord also projects some light that looks like a planeterrium when used night. I bought better GE tubes for 20 bucks. It's sold as a tube buffer...-Mark Korda
I've had a few ST70s over the years, including the Dynakit I assembled in 1966 as part of my first stereo system. Lots of other Dyna components over the years, along with some Hafler pieces.
But my only time with a ST35 was after taking one in trade in a local sale. I used it to demo and sell a pair of A-25 speakers, then later sold the ST35.
I later saw reports on its great sonics with appropriate speaker matching. That meant no AR-3s!

For many years my late wife and I used the glowing meters of a McIntosh 2105 as a night light.
I dream of an America where a chicken can cross the road without having it's motives questioned.
Here's my small signal tube night light with photocell for automatic On/Off. They're available in various colors but all turn
plain white over time. Could be paint fade on the LED bulb under the glass tube.My vacuum tube night light in the basement storage room
You might find them on eBay for much less than $10 but I rarely do eBay.
[Edit]: I did a quick eBay search and they're about 2x the price. Looks like
sellers are buying from TubeDepot and marking them up.
