I have never had COVID as far as I know, and the only side effects other than a briefly sort arm I've gotten from perhaps 10 vaccine admins would be fatigue for a day or so. Why so many? Age and high-risk health conditions.
Until research began to emerge showing generally insignificant differences in side effects between MATCHED groups of people who did vs. didn't get a COVID shot, there were many conjectures by doctors and lots of other folks that symptoms that followed COVID shots were CAUSED by the injections.
You know, I did swab down my groceries with disinfectant for a few weeks at the beginning of the pandemic. I say that sheepishly.
Follow Ups:
I think that was one of the better habits I picked up during the pandemic. And I still don the masks sometimes when I'm very close to some coughing fool...
One thing that wearing masks did accomplish was a reduction in regular flu cases, I think. Masks do not prevent all germs from entering the body but they do filter some of them out, which is sometimes enough to matter with regular flu strains.
Wiped down the shopping cart handles with disinfectant wipes.
I don't care what anyone says - those things can't be healthy...
It's common sense.
The other thing that makes sense is washing your hands and face immediately after coming in from the outdoors, or after any public event.
