    ...so you may be sorry you asked but here's the quick take. It costs $70 to buy what cost $40 a few years ago so that's put a certain damper on things. And it's amazing what $100 WON'T buy anymore. Besides that, the general trend in the industry has been to go to a meek, uninspired, gutless, toss-it-down-the-back-of-your-throat-and-be-rid-of-it approach to crafting which is the antithesis of what I'm looking for. So the quest is under heavy fire from multiple fronts.

        ...is the Les Mesnil. Consistency is a little spotty but if you get a good one there is some pretense of minerality and terroir. Really could stand another five years on the shelf to open up but that would be a budget breaker. NV will set you back about $60. The current vintage offering is about a dime more.

I believe I perused all of Luminator's posts and I don't remember any porn. I suppose that porn like beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

  Not in the broadest sense of the word. But there is a lot of photos of young women from the neck down, especially their cleavage. And then there are the photos where they don't seem to be aware they are being photographed in compromised positions.
  All of which makes me wonder if they are aware that he has been posting pictures of them on-line?
