Call me Jethro, if you will.
A certain amount of time spent reading and gathering info the "old-fashioned way" suits me just fine. Just as long as it's not TOO MUCH time away. Helps me become a better listener, I think ?
YMMV. Stream away, if that's your thing.
Follow Ups:
Streaming is soon to be my 3rd source in my audio system. TT, digital music library (includes all physical media, free concert downloads and 100 radio stations) and streaming.

At this point, I rarely use anything BUT streaming. If I want to listen to a CD, I'll probably just rip it so I can stream it from my cloud drive from that point forward. So while I technically have 3 sources available, I generally only use two, and use of the TT is rare as well. I guess that I'm just getting lazy.
I'm only streaming to my PC so far. Looks like I'll be ordering a streamer for the audio system within a day or two. Other than the radio stations that came with Moode, the GUI for the rPi that connects the system DAC via USB to the music library hard drive, I have little actual streaming on the main audio system. Can't wait to be able to stream Qobuz lossless and high res to my audio system. Only been able to compare rips (CDs and CDRW recordings of vinyl) to Qobuz lossless streaming on the PC. The streams do very well compared to the rips (everything sounds real good) but it's the PC system so it's relative as the high fi is exponentially better.Been buying records since I was 14 and my current collection was establish in 1978 and am still into buying old records, new music and audiophile reissues. Streaming has so much potential it's impossible to resist. Using a graphical interface to access music is awesome. I've learned to mostly dislike the vinyl ritual and consider using a record cleaning machine as pure misery. Talk about buzz kills.

I'm afraid that pretty much describes me as well. I just don't get into the ritual associated with vinyl. The best I can say for it is that, up to this point anyway, it's the best sounding source I have.
