The US CE (Consumer Electronics) Chessboard will be shaken to its core.
If I were in charge, I'd relocate Sonus Faber production to Mexico, where furniture making is a Growth Industry, and DUUH, Mexico is in the NAFTA Zone.
Or, does the new President plan to EXIT NAFTA?
Just like BREXIT?
ha ha ha... A US Brexit.

Follow Ups:
Based on what 47 says he'll do to Chinese EV mfgrs locating EV production there to avoid tariffs. OTOH, I suspect hi-end audio isn't on incoming adms radar. We can still get Russian tubes . . . For a price.
Some Brit's I know have referred to what's going on in USofA these days as Brexit 2.0 It wasn't a compliment.
In theory, Trump could announce that the US is withdrawing from NAFTA. My guess is that at least some members of Congress would sue to declare that to be "Ultra Vires" (Outside the Powers). NAFTA itself provides a 6-month waiting period before such a declaration takes effect.
I also believe that any increase in tariffs over the pre-NAFTA levels cannot take effect until one year after the withdrawals take effect.
IIRC, those increases cannot be more than 50% over the pre-NAFTA levels. Was it not the case that pre-NAFTA, Mexico was a "Most Favored Nation"?
So, nearly half his term goes by, and then Trump gets to impose modest customs duties on Mexico.
After he shuffles off to the Dustbin of History, a sane Administration can re-activate NAFTA.
Once the people who voted for Trump figure out that they mean nothing and Elon Musk means everything, perhaps they will grow up.
Oh well. The Lord allowed the Children of Israel to be taken away to Babylon in Captivity (giving "Boney M." one of the biggest worldwide hit singles in the history of the 45rpm seven-inch phonodisc).
So, perhaps we all should just count our blessings. Which include my ability to post a post such as this without fear of official reprisal.

And if so, there shouldn't be a problem because Musk and his businesses aren't Chinese. But Musk isn't our friend either. Wasn't thinking of redoing trade treaties. Just an executive order of some sort. BTW, you reference NAFTA and assoc provisions. NAFTA was replaced in 2018 by USMCA. I'm not familiar with USMCA. Do those NAFTA provisions you cite carry over to USMCA?
Should avoid politics here but . . . Nah, just three words: Long Term Strategy. Someone has one. Someone else appears to lack one.
Just laziness on the part of my old brain, and... you can pronounce NAFTA like a word, and you cannot pronounce the replacement like a word.
"NAFTA Zone" falls trippingly off the tongue, IMHO.
AFAIK, the big negotiating points for USMCA were:
Environmental issues
Intellectual Property, esp. digital matters
Raising the North American origin car-part requirement to 75%
Minimum-wage requirements for certain industries and products
AFAIK, the mechanics of the agreement itself carried over. But it's been more than 30 years since I was last involved in litigation that had International Trade ramifications.
If you look at the list of USMCA "gets," it's the Bastard Child of Trumpean Nationalistic Populism, and the usual Democratic concerns about the environment and worker welfare.
Therefore, because at least half of the "gets" of USMCA are core concerns of the Democratic Party, which at some point has to get so tired of losing that they trim their sails a little differently, they might just come out roaring, if the new President tries to terminate USMCA.
And of course, you are right, the Umbrella Issue is Long Term Strategy. Will Sonus Faber have no choice but to have loudspeaker cabinets built in the Grand Rapids or North Carolina Furniture-Making districts???
As in all things, Truth will be the Daughter of Time. (Unless we are talking about the JFK assassination.)

Seems to me Bose acquired both Mac and Sonus Faber because they have names recognized outside of audiophile world. This ought to apply nicely to branded premium auto sound. I understand auto sound is a very large part of Bose's current business.
One might almost think that they keep making home audio gear to hold the halo up over the car business.
Perhaps 20 years ago an insider told me that back then, ML's car business threw off twice as much cash as home audio.

PS: I was just talking to a CEDIA type guy who thought that Bose might sell Sonus Faber to Chinese interests, thereby lowering in some sense their cost to get McIntosh.
And let us not forget that Sonus Faber's less-expensive loudspeakers are Chinese, so, back to Political Risk!
