    Played "side 2" and enjoyed it immensely in surround. Not an aggressive mix but it really does add to the sound.

    sounds pretty good. Definitely better than any cd version. On the BD, a digital comic book video, stills really, play along with audio and have all the lyrics in it. Only bonus content is picture gallery, lyrics and credits unless there is a easter egg somewhere.

  I was wondering which to get for use with a stereo DAC out of my Oppo 83. Based on what I linked below, it seems that DVD-A would be the better choice. That would also allow me to play it in my car.

    I don't think that what is discussed in that link is correct. I will have to experiment with my 95 and that PB disc and see. I think it is a 95 setting issue.
    
    Also noticed on the Amazon site that the Rush discs say 2112 five point one so I guess we are getting a mch mix as well as stereo. If the bd is 24/192 stereo mix as well, I guess I will pony up for the bd.

  How the heck did you ever find that? I've been looking for it on .com and .ca for a while and still never found it except by your link. Still haven't found the BD version which is what I'll likely get... Sorry for being dumb lol.

    Just searched for 'RUSH 2112 DVD-A' on the one and 'RUSH 2112 Blu' on the other.

      Amazon's wonderful search engine turned up nothing relevant for "Rush 2112" in the Music category for the last month. Not a single BD option, nor a relevant DVD-A one. How stupid of me to look for it using such vague terms!
