You can select an option verify after the program burns the disc. If the verify is OK, the data is the same.

...but I did find one mistake I made, I left the encoding to Automatic but have since changed that to 24/96 PCM. The DVD is the same size as the original files and the DVD player is set to output PCM w/ no downsampling but I still can hear no difference at all?? Dang this is frustrating.
Find someone with a PS3. When you play the disc, you can hit the Display button on the PS3's dedicated remote and it will tell you the sampling rate (should be 96kHz) and the audio bitrate (should be 4608 kbps for 24/96 2.0 material).
