I have it.I don't think it's harsh.It is,maybe, a little more forward,and the Mch mix does emphasize the instruments a little differently.It is very dynamic and clean,no romantic mix here.
I like how the synthisiser swirls around the room at the end.

sound like crap.the 96/24 mch analog outs sounds good not harsh at all.

    Not harsh at all! One of my favorite surround discs. I guess there is a beef that there is no proper stereo mix, it is a downmix so you really need a decent full surround system to enjoy it properly. the bottom end is amazing. worth the price of the disc just for the surround of Lucky Man. Gee, I wish they had done the first album all the way through!
