Playing DVD-A in Foobar

Hi all, I'm having a job finding the relevent info for playing DVD-A in Foobar. I've found DVD A Explorer and extracted the .mlp files to my Harddrive. Obviously, this has been talked about before, but my searches keep pulling up the likes of, "you need to spend $$$$ on hardware", any links please?

Happily doing so, emulating Windows with Wine, in Ubuntu 9.10

  Can u pl save me hours and tell clearly how. Nothing happens when I follow instructions. Audio dvdas have empty audio_ts folders
