Can I do better than Oppo DV-180H for similar price. I will mainly use it for audio and watch movies occasionally. $200 or less is my budget.

The Yamaha DVD S1800 is a great sounding machine. TAS said a few years ago you would have to spend $1200 to get its performance. It listed for $450. Now its on close out for $150! Bought one. Sounds so good it got me into SACDs. Will buy a second one. A few years ago borrowed a ~$600 Phillips that TAS liked with SACD. Never sounded good enough to move me to SACD. Later lived with an Oppo DV-970 (think). It was good. never bought one.
Yamaha has hdmi but doesn't pass SACD thru it if thats important to you.

the onkyo 6 disc changer dvcp 802 universal player.got mine new for $200.00 I have the oppo too.It will do much more than the oppo.there not enough out puts on the oppo for me on stereo sacd playback.the onkyo has 2 extra ones.will play sacd & dvd audio

I recommend, a Denon dvd-758. If you search around you can find them for less than $40 refurbished.
