Seems the max sample rate this supports is 48k.
which could be "hi-rez" (i.e. higher than 16bit/44kHz). Since this is a DVD-A forum, I'll assume you want to rip DVD-A. This software won't do that.
> Since this is a DVD-A forum, I'll assume you want to rip DVD-A.a fair assumption, perhaps, but you would be incorrect
it's not an overly long thread, reading the original post might be a good idea

Shouldn't matter - hirez music layers on a DVD is invariably 2 channel only

radknee, since a Mac is a PC with a different operating system there are many options you could use.
First you can use bootcamp which gives you to chance to install windows XP or Vista and if you are really a computer smart person Linux.
After installing this there are loads of free options.
If you don not want to go the bootcamp option. You can still install windows XP or Vista using software which allow you to use virtual machines in OSX.
If these two options do not do it for you, than simply use google.com or bing.com as a search engine.
I did and found loads of options including this one: http://www.iskysoft.com/dvd-audioripper-mac.html
