sorry there is no 2 channel track.there is no menu.all I could do was press the audio button on the remote.it would not change to 2 channel.it would be an exellent disc if it had a minu & the 2 channel mch option on it.

Actually Ben, I used to own this disc and there is a 2 channel hi-rez track. They just make it very difficult to find. Keep looking, it's definitely on there.
If Ben is right and it's only 44.1, I have no need and I don't listen to MCH music.

...jacopas' website, the disc has 2ch 24/96 in Group 2. He's usually pretty accurate.
if I find it I will post it.

the disc is a royal pain but its music is great.I never listen with 2 speakers.I like the sound.pretty strange coming from a hard core mch fan.

Is the multi-channel true DVD-A or simply Dolby Digital and DTS? Is a DVD-A capable player even needed?

I found the 2 channel track its only 44.1 there on the bonus tracks only.the rest is 96 24.I played it in direct mode with 2 speakers. It sounded good but a lot better in mch.its an exellent sounding disc.in 2 channel or multi.I think all the info is there in 2 channel because I think this came from mono.I never listen in 2 channel but I am on this one.Im surprised, it sounds good.
