Follow Ups:
Sailing to Philadelphia or David Crosby's If I Could Remember My Name
I've got a few favorites but if I want to show off DVD-A I normally put in the Eagles 'Hotel Cafilornia' in stereo (24/192). Compared to the CD version it sounds like somebody took a blanket off my speakers.
HOtel California is great in surround as well. When want to show off DVD-A I put on Fleetwood Mac Rumours. the vocals are scary 3-D.
thanks I own that disc & Im playing it now..the vocals are 3d like.I own a lot of dvd audios by bands I never heard of before. they dont sound as good as this one.I have not played this one in years.thanks for recommending it.A real classic.
ps stereo 96 too but no 3d effect that way:}Im going to check the making of rumurs when the disc ends.
dvd audio
& multichannel sacds rule
it was always demonstration material, even back in the days of vinyl. Bass is excellent.
The dvda surround mix also contains different re-mixes on a few tracks.
Also check out Tigerlilly ...natalie merchant. also excellent bass.
