I have to resort to defending myself against people who will not let me hate low resolution in Peace whither it be from CD or low resolution downloads. There people have no clue whatsoever why high resolution digital formats and downloads exists! I propose there be a separate forum for CD apologists, oh wait there is, Digital Drive!

And just what do I want to control? The only thing I have suggested lately is boycotting CDs to force the record companies to release hybrid SACD/CDs, that is not control but the power of the market and how capitalism works.

I have no problem with SACD, DVD-Audio and Blu-Ray Audio all being in one forum. I was one of the few who voted to combine SACD and DVD-Audio when Universal players were announced as this design made choosing one or the other irreverent. I do have a preference for SACD, but I also listen to DVD-Audio and 24/96 DVDs. All high resolution is better than low resolution CD by a long shot, IMHO.

I short I don't have an answer to the problem of CD apologist and CD crybabies, I just wish they appreciated the high resolution digital formats they own more. Oh well, I can't make everyone happy. But I try.

  I control nothing.
  I do not care if people wish to subject themselves to low resolution CDs.
  Some people have NO CLUE why high resolution even exists.
  
  If their screaming and attacking me is a problem for you, the very least you could do is defend me, not attack me for defending myself.
