I've bough this DVD Audio recently and i was really surprised by it's quality.
Good clear stereo audio and a good defenition and presence on both chanels.

This is a DVD Audio i do recommend, were availalble. I think on Amazon it's still ok to buy it.

I consider this an acceptable example of what a DVD-Audio could be, it's not a pure 192/24, i think it's just 96/24, but it's quite good.

By far, better than ANY DualDisc...

It may be with different audio setups different DVD Audios shine. But for me , the Bedroom Mixes beats the pants off Imaginary Day, sonically. This is on my new rig, Integra 8.5 (not new) MC275, Merlin VSM SE, and ML Depth.

  You must have some awfully high standards! I'm listening to it using a Denon 3910 connected to Harman-Kardon Signature 2.x separates driving Gallo Ref. 3.1s and Dues with an Earthquake sub. It sounds *terrific* on my setup, one of the best discs I've ever heard....

    Bedroom Mixes is "light" jazz, and the track selection is perfect for putting you to sleep, and keeping you there. Highly recommended for insomniacs. That's probably why they named it Bedroom Mixes !

      Movie soundtracks are always non-intrusive no you won't find "Larks Tongues" on this disc, or other heavy metal. But the sound quality is top notch, as is the playing. By they way, anyone notice Grant Geisman getting credit for guitar on a cut that has no guitar?

Actually, it's 88.2kHz / 24bit. Yes, it's a very good disc if you can find it.

It now sits atop my list of reference quality digital sources. If only it had some female vocals it would be the perfect test disc for auditioning equipment.
