Your obstinate adherence to a single format means less music for you.
LESS MUSIC.
C'mon, you know there's stuff on SACD you want to listen to. Why not give it a shot?
Why can't a person listen to whatever format as long as it's music they want to hear?
LOL? (whoops)
For those of you thta have loved SACD so much, as I have predicted when SACD came to liife another format come and gone SACD is dead effective April '07 Sony decided.
If you cmapare de SACD 16 bits to a 24 bit word length digital word and clocked for 192 KHz (even 96KHz is pretty darn good). leaved SACD in the dust now . . . one thing early adopters of SACd are lfet with kilo$ machines to reproduce 2 channel audio when a year after they came out with multichannel music on SACD most of them could be downcorverted and downmixed to 2 channel some of them were not . .. go figure . . .
ALl I know 24/96 is a real stereo format and in real high resolution, Hi-Res recordings sounds just as good with a $1,000 benchmark media DAC as a $5,000 turntable with a $2,800 tonearm and a $1,700 cartridge no names please. nos that's a comparison . . .
Cheers and enjoy the CD's and DVD audio format long live the king!!!
God Bless;
Gonzalo
You "said": "If you cmapare de SACD 16 bits to a 24 bit word length digital word and clocked for 192 KHz (even 96KHz is pretty darn good). leaved SACD in the dust now . . . "
SACD is a single bit system with a sample rate of 2.8224Mhz.
Have you and KEKL been smoking crack together?
I find it strange how any fan of surround music could
"shut out" ether SACD or DVD-A. The best piece of equipment I ever bought was my universal player.
