Might put a dent into Roon's business. Be nice to only pay for one service.
Follow Ups:
for six years using the LMS plugin.
Don't understand the challenge for some platforms.
I've been doing the same thing using my SB Touch for years, but it's always been a bit on the fidgety side for me. The Roon interface is much cleaner and easier for me to use. The Lyric guys have made a few improvements that I appreciate, but I'll stick with Roon for now, even at the extra cost. Moving on from the SB Touch to my Mac Mini "server" and trying iron that out. It works at the moment, so I'm enjoying the simplicity, and sometimes simplicity costs $$$.
was a remarkable device in its day but had its limitations for sure.
There are multiple UIs available today for LMS depending upon your preference. I've been happy with iPeng for years. Like Roon, it places a small "Q" by albums played or found in favorites or new content. Works on watch, phone or pad. First two used in garage while usually pad upstairs. It offers a variety of views and ways to access. Works for me.

I've used Logitech Media Server and Roon server with Qobuz for years, as well. As I understand it Qobuz Connect makes a direct connection with the Qobuz servers and your DAC to deliver files at all native resolutions without any middle man or music player.
Many folks suggest that it's a better sounding digital delivery option. I haven't used it. So, I don't know first hand.
power to innovation! I've been pretty spoiled just having access. :)
It seems that about 8-months ago Qobuz started distributing a BETA version of the Qobuz Connect App. It was announced in the "Qobuz Club" which I take it is like a forum community. And the invitation to BETA test the app went to paid VIP members of the Club. Who knew this stuff even existed??Also, it was announced that Wiim, Auralic and one or two other steamer vendors were working with Qobuz to enable the Connect feature to those that received the invitation to BETA test.
