You didn't say what TYPE of digital input you need to drive and what end result you were seeking.Pro-ject Optical Box E below will accept an MM phono cartridge level signal directly into its RCA jacks -OR- a line level signal from your existing phono preamp. In the latter case you will need a 3.5mm to stereo RCA adapter cable. The product page is linked below. The Owner's Manual can be found on the product page under the heading "What's in the box:". It describes technical details including user selectable 48-KHz or 96-KHz output over Optical.

If needed you can find dozens of these 3.5mm to
stereo RCA adapter cables on Amazon.
If you're planning to digitize vinyl LP's here's an entirely different solution that outputs via USB to a computer. It doesn't get much simpler than this. You can use the FREE Audacity software on the computer but there are others.
