This is the same Lampizator that recommended the 6N6P tube to replace 6DJ8s. It draws a lot more current and the specs don't otherwise match up either. I tried it anyway without other mods and it really sounds good. They are dirt cheap too, or at least they were as I haven't checked in years. I still have a small supply. I think I paid $5 each and they guy in pre-war Ukraine threw in an extra too. The "better" ones cost only a little more. At some point I'd swapped them out back to my 6DJ8s but I remember the amp then sounding a little light. I put the 6N6Ps in after I replaced the sockets, the old sockets were getting loose and the pins are ever so slightly smaller.
