I have a Denafrips Pontus II DAC. Its CO1 input stopped working. I emailed Vinshine Audio about the issue. I got a response immediately. Vincent Ong said as CO2 is still working, he believes it is the DSP board issue. He asked me to ship the DSP board only to their repair center in TX. After a few days I got the DSP board back and everything were fixed. I only needed to pay shipping. Much better than expected especially consider the DAC is super heavy.

Benchmark DAC3 has a deeper bass. But Pontus II has a better midrange. And the midrange is the soul of music.
Benchmark DAC3, Pontus II, TDA1541, Rega DAC and Sony ES CD player. They all sound different. However there is no clear winner. As I goal is to enjoy music instead of analyzing the sound, I don't mind which one.
Good to know that Denafrips supports their products right here in the US. Glad you got it fixed.

But bass is the backbone of the music ;-)
Midrange is the soul of music, bass is the backbone and treble is the life. Haha, you have everything.
