If you think that DACs have somehow become bulletproof to jitter and RFI, that's fine..... We'll just live in disagreement and move on.

A lot of the "noise" we chase is so far down in the "noise" that it no longer matters much. In other words, jitter, RFI / EMI, etc. still exist but modern equipment does a good job of mitigating it to the point that we no longer need many of those aftermarket "bolt ons". That is of course just my opinion.

Which reclockers have you used? I, like Todd, consider them indispensable to good digital sound. I haven't heard a streamer/DAC combo that didn't benefit big time. Only once with an old PS Audio Lambda cd transport was there questionable benefit...-and that transport had the lowest jitter ever measured at Stereophile. You're fooling yourself if you think they fixed all the issues at the DAC, plus many sources of jitter are power supply related, not data stream per se.
