1. The item under review may have been damaged during shipment, unbeknownst to the reviewer.
If the reviewer can't figure out the gear is malfunctioning he or she isn't qualified to be doing the review
2. Giving a product from a young up and coming company would be a death knell. And thus be overly unfair.
Bullshit. If they have it on the market then they have to face the proverbial music. "Up and coming companies" don't get to work their way up using the hard earned dollars of audiophiles as their R&D program. If it isn't ready for market dont put it on the market
3. The reviewer might not have followed instructions correctly.
Then again the reviewer lacks the competence to be reviewing audio gear
4. There may have been a problem or error in the review system.
Then again the reviewer lacks the competence to be reviewing audio gear
5. The same argument for ignoring negative results of a controlled blind test applies to equipment reviews
Now you are just trying to justify your own bogus scam products that make zero audible difference in an audio system and are shown to be bogus scam products in proper DBTs.
No wonder you had a knee jerk reaction to my criticism of an audio reviewer.
Follow Ups:
Let's skip the name-calling.
Fax mentis incendium gloria cultum, et cetera, et cetera...
Memo bis punitor delicatum! It's all there, black and white,
clear as crystal! Blah, blah, and so on and so forth ...
You seem to think reviewers walk on water. Perhaps you need to find a new hobby. You hate audiophiles and you can't argue, you are a bundle of logical fallacies every time.
