I guess the reason I don't is because I'm pretty satisfied with Apple Music (despite some frustrations I've noted in previous posts) and Qobuz.

The iPhone etc interface is far superior to the tv app. I don't know why there would be a difference

In fact, the Apple Classical app doesn't even exist outside the iPhone.
Who knows why Apple, in their wisdom, decreed it thus. I'd heard that, with the Apple silicon in their laptops and desktops (i.e., closer to the processors running the iPhone), the apps were going to be closer and closer in "look and feel" regardless of whether one was using the iPhone or not. I guess it hasn't happened YET.
I **think** (but I'm not sure) that Apple Classical has been available for the iPad for over a year.
Yes, Apple Classical is available on iPad, and also available on Android! However not on Mac, Windows or web browser (even though Apple Music is on all those platforms). I think the reason is that Apple Classical was originally Primephonic, and Apple has not expanded on the platforms supported by Primephonic. What they should really do is integrate Apple Classical right into Apple Music. It should be a single app to access any genre of music.

Actually, the Apple Music app on Windows claims to include all of the music in Apple Classical, and I never had any trouble finding what I was looking for. It seems to be missing some of the "liner notes" you get on the iPhone app, which are quite sparse at best.
But it works fine.
Apple Music and Apple Classical offer the same catalog of classical music recordings. When I said that Apple Classical should be integrated into Apple Music, I meant the user interface. If you know what you're looking for, Apple Music will work fine but the interface is poor for exploring and discovering classical music.
. . . than an iMac or a MacBook would be.
