...that those with cable cookers can now feel inadequate that they only have a cheap one.
Follow Ups:
I have power cord cooker that also refrigerates beer in the garage.
...it works better than the cable cooker I bought. A friend of mine cooked every cable and power cord in our systems over a couple of weeks period and...NADA. Sent it back to the dealer to see if it was functional and he said it worked fine so I sold it back to him.
I just never understood this whole thing. If you really think cables need break in, let them break in. Give it some time before you form an opinion. In the meantime, just play your system the way you always do. I'd say about 75% of my listening is just having it on while I do whatever else I'm doing. Of the other 25%, about 5% is listening intently, while the other 20% is listening while falling asleep on the couch. Usually intent listening leads to the other.
...my system is and has been totally settled in for years. Every cable and power cord in it has been in place for a minimum of 20 years. But after hearing the high praises for the cooker sung over and over again on this forum, especially by one member repeatedly, ad infinitum, and that no cable is truly ready for prime time til it's cooked, I decided to take the plunge. And the results were as I reported...nada...zilch.

Especially of young Asian women, from the neck down?
Yup, no surprise there. I bought one like 20 years ago and use it on both manufactured cables and DIY cables, with pretty much the same result. However, I have justified the value because using it treats my FOMO affliction.
Maybe it's better that way.I've cooked everything except the the RG-11 tuner/roof antenna cable (I'm not climbing back up there!) and ground meat I've had for dinner. I've cooked giant Duelund caps and even resistors. Everything sounds always better. I even redo cooking a year or so later with good results. Oh well.

...of your success with the process. Wish I could say the same.
On the lower end of the spectrum, I've had a Hagerman FryBaby for yrs. So I have no idea if the more "industrial strength" cookers take things to the next level. As for the FryBaby, I would say it's most helpful when burning in silver or silver over copper cables. Aside from that, there are times when the "cooking" process has little effect. So there may indeed be cases where there is little or no difference. Nothing gets harmed in the process though.
