I would like the audiophile community to know that Aliexpress will not stand to help buyers from vendor fraud of products purchased off of their website. I recently order fake Audioquest cables from [Vipeos - HiFi Store] and was denied my cancellation even though placed within a 24 hour period. They promises no charges will post before shipping happens but as a fact my credit card was posted a charge within 12 hours. Expected delivery time is about 2 weeks but still the vendor refuses to stop shipment and refund my card. They rather I receive, send back, and ultimately get credit vs cash back. So be aware of this type of practices Aliexpress is allowing to happen within their commerce market place.
Follow Ups:
I've never really had any issue with my AliExpress purchases.
I've had some disappointments along the way with some of the products (for example, the fake Odin cables that all use the same pictures but end up not being exactly the same from vendor to vendor with some very good ones and some that were "meh")
You alway need to check the vendor's reviews before purchasing anything.
Order closed, card has been refunded.. 🐲
I buy stuff off Aliexpress, but I never assume I will get the product as described or any customer service. Its a risk I will willingly take to get a deal or something that is not availalble elsewhere. I find it odd that someone would expect more given the nature of this international company that does not need to comply with USA standards and facilitates sales of thousands of counterfeit and missrepresented products.

+1. Exactly, it's a roll of the dice. That said, I've never spent enough on any particular item to make worth the trouble of returning it for a refund. If I don't like the results, I just give it to friend to try.
I've had a good number of transactions with different vendors on Aliexpress with only one problematic transaction. And in this particular case, the problem wasn't with the vendor but rather with the courier service once it reached the US. After trading a number of e-mails with the vendor, the courier and a call to the courier the package did arrive. A week later than it should have but the delay was the only issue.

LOL, I guess.
Anytime I can throw a wrench into capitalism, I will do it. F..k Audioquest.
Making assumptions shows ignorance. The cable was labelled as and is fake, it was to be part of a comparison to other original cables in the same price range.
Hello,
Yes I have and did. They gave me a limited time credit back for the amount while they investigate. But as it's out of the country it's ultimately up to Aliexpress to delete the charge. Master Card has put me on the hook if Aliexpress doesn't cooperate. Thank you for the suggestion. I just need our audio group here on Asylum to be aware of this.
