Thanks House13. If I can trouble you with two more questions regarding the sonic character of the vondita in general. In your experience ...- did you find the treble to be on the "soft" side? Also...- the review mentioned the vondita as having a bit of a distant hall perspective. Do you find their assessment of that accurate?

Certainly sonic characteristics can be system dependent. Given that, I do not find the treble to be on the "soft"side. Further, my system is often capable of a 3D or holographic imaging. The system retains the hall perspective that is in the recording. I hope this helps!

  Thanks. That helps a lot. As long as the treble is pretty much neutral or close. My system sounds a little closed in and cupped...-a soft treble cord will probably make it worse.
