...I would recommend active protection first and foremost. I'd think with that in place, any A/C cable you choose (even generic) would be just fine. While I happen to use the ISO Recovery device above with a provided 6-inch generic A/B output cable, you'd realize both great and repeatable results by way of an exceptionally robust transport system from end-to-end.While I use a Supra A/B out of my own PC server, the Xangsane A/B is also appealing, but certainly not as critical as the active sender and receiver transmission elements present in your system. Additionally, the USB protocol is there for a specific reason: the thorough data protection that we enjoy as a musical byproduct.

Good morning Fluter,
Thanks for taking the time to respond to my post. Yet as I've used several types of these devices earlier on, beginning around 2014, where I started with the UpTone Audio Regen | Wyred 4 Sound Recovery ( as mentioned above ) | iFi Audio iPurifier | AudioQuest Jitterbug FMJ | JCAT USB Isolator | Holo Audio Titanis, where each were very very effective tied to the three different Mac Mini's used between said 2014-2022, I'll have to research the brand you've mentioned to see if in fact they've one with the Type USB C connector on the end going into the EverSoLo DMP A6?, as my concern is actually finding a Type C USB cable which has to be plugged into it..., where I'd then have to look further into USB Type A-A or C-C cables, or just use an A-C USB Adapter?.
But as I did manage to purchase the Oyaide Neo+ Class B, as shown above for $42, it seems logical to start here | then onto the Xangsane USB Type A-C cable which is definitely within my means, I was basically trying to sample pure copper or silver plated copper makes, as it has been awhile.
Going back to research said Wyred 4 Sound USB Isolators now.
Thanks again for chiming in.
...or their equivalent, would potentially eliminate any need to select an optimized A/C cable in this application - and that is what I wanted to convey. A short output cable length (post Recovery) has no practical impact and whether a simple adapter is used on the input to the Eversolo would also be of no consequence, though I would be happiest with minimizing mechanical interfaces on the input just as best practice would dictate.
Frankly I would be most leery of the near proximity of Wifi & bluetooth emitters on the back panel and any RF incursion they may introduce on the inputs.
In any event, it looks like a very fun device and as an old curmudgeon, wish the C connector it and so many others sport these days, had never appeared. Not a fan of "smaller".
Understood | appreciated.
Yet as I recall many of these items were in fact used with either an SMPS ( wall wart ) of which I'd replace with either the Chinese made ZeroZone of Studer 900 LPSs which Duster would often praise, yet for said use of these items lead me to use the first the JCAT USB Isolator followed the Holo Audio Tinanis, and finally the AQ Jitterbug FMJ, logical it seems that of late, I've chosen to avoid most items particularly DACs that require a LPS, as much as I loved the sound of say the Pro-Ject DS Box Ultra ( or something to that effect? ), or have looked at cheaper DACs like the Geshelli Labs J2 | Musical Fidelity makes, it turns me off seeing those little opening for a DC barrel connection.
So as it stands, I'm willing to try this little device out, and while I much prefer having my music files stored natively, as opposed to streaming, much like I was being forced to do with a HiFi Rose RS-250 ( $2.500 thingy ) which only lasted in our home a mere week before I sold it, as the Remote App seemingly required a PHD just to get it up and running, which I never was able to manage.., I've chosen to spend what's left of life as in one of the Soundstage.com site portal, referee to a " Simplifi " and have found myself downsizing the box count, in an attempt to make life | said system that less difficult to access.
Like you..., I to dread these C type connectors, yet it appears with a lot of Asian based portable, and now home based DACs, they've chosen to make it as if to be the new normal, which it isn't, but I'm still willing to give it a shot, as the Creator knows, I just personally don't do plastic items, so for me the WiiM Pro Plus wasn't even an option.
+1 on the wallwarts (which Wyred4sound provides)
But I transitioned over to a separate lab/bench DC supply and built a cable terminated with an Oyaide 3.5mm connector. Set at an output voltage of +5.2vDC, the ISO Recovery draws 0.243A - so basically a quarter of an amp.
Ha.
And therein lies my dilemma, as I've often given praise to guys like Duster | Paco | ABliss | Jon L., and obviously you whom have the ability to build or solder | where at best like many, while I do believe I've great taste in home decor, I'm dependent upon ready made cables, especially IC's | USB Cables..., and while I've been aware of the various Viborg RCA | USB connectors and watch them, let's just say I'd rather pay one of you to fashion said cables on my behalf, as it seems I've become quite accustomed to tossing items in the garbage once I've failed the task after two tries.
Maybe in the next life, I'll take electrical and/or welding classes more seriously.
Well.. I'm quite positive the world's populace would easily determine I'm devoid of any and all decor-related skills - so we each have our challenges, eh?
But if you need something nailed up in relatively short order, let it be known.
I heard that!.
