Said post was regarding audio related amplification | cabling I regretted buying. Especially taking into account where wisdom has placed said options | priorities as of today.
I mean whom amongst any of us in this habit, hasn't felt just maybe we should've waited upwards of 5-13 months in buying a component, and felt I should've went right, when I went left?, in my case I was trying to get at the point of pursuing one brand versus another was a mistake I'm willing to admit to myself | publicly. Had I chosen to follow the recommendations of both Gene Rubin ( Gene Rubin Audio ) | Bob Clarke ( Profundo Audio ) " both of whom were spot on ", and went with said Heed Audio Lagrange integrated instead of the Naim Audio SN3 | well as having spent thousands on cabling since 2009, and had known about these wonderful sounding Chinese cables | cords of which have bought my system to life..., literally | it'd have been all the better for it, yet as I've come to believe things in life " one has to live it | to learn it | therefore come to love what one has learned as the result of having said life ".
As for the Coda Technologies Unison 3 integrated amp, I purchased based upon first hearing their wares locally in Michigan at a dealers home back in 1994, it offered the type of sound which started in my mind since, so having the opportunity to buy it when I did, I jumped on it.
As far as anodizing goes, while I've to assume it's applied differently between countries, this black finished chassis to me shows dust even after dusting the component daily, which is why I've read afterwards not many black versions were purchased here in the states, I've to assume others were warned beforehand | as based upon past experiences with said silver anodized finishes as with two DACs I've owned, namely Gustard | Pro-Ject DACs, I should've stuck to my initial order for said finish, but my wife felt the black one looked nicer.

However, I now buy Chinese when I need an extra cable, usually not my main system, but I haven't compared them. I stay away from all the major US cable brands now. 'well, I have some Audioquest digital stuff, but I'm still shopping for digital, in general.

While having studied the plugs on power cords used on say Stage lll Concept cords, which blew my mind with their prices | I too believe even if I'd afford several of the domestic brands, I'd be very very slim pickings at best.
Yet in all honesty | I'm very very very confident I've voiced my system to a point where I no longer wish to read or look at anything else " period ".
Stay resolute and strong brother!!!
You seem in a good place, not so easy a thing to achieve with our... interests.
I feel part of me twitching regards the cables/plugs you've mentioned...
As always, nice to read your posts.

musetap,
Thanks for the kind words | as my intent is just that. I've enjoyed spotting and reading your post as well..., and please do try said Xangsane P-6008Ag or Grey Knight GK-6008Ag PCs, especially with said power plug tandem, I believe you ( most ) will be very very surprised with the results sonically speaking.
As mentioned more or less | I'll be riding these PCs out. As spending more would be foolish on my part.
