Thanks for the encouragement. You and a couple of other members were what got me interested in seeing how these'd sound. I noticed that the silver version didn't have any comments so figured I'd give them a shot.
This picture shows them with the European plugs but mine were the US version.

You're more than welcome,
Yet I'd say the original version of this cord was ordered from the seller RPM Digital, and appeared much much thicker than the one you've in the photo. I've come to rely upon 4 sellers which seemingly offer said larger gauge wiring, the tell tale sign, is the usually come to around $90-$150 depending upon said cable or cord?.
As many of the guys over on both Head-Fi | A'Gon have been discussing the Odin 2 Silver are an ideal match for system based upon a warm to neutral sound signature | whereas the Odin Gold suits more of a system which leans towards neutral to slightly brighter presentation, much like the two companies of old, Harmonic Technologies ( suited brighter gear, and added a touch of warmth ) its sister company Acoustic Zen ( better matched slightly warmer electronics ), both of which I've owned, and said sonic differences stayed in my mind, and have become quite useful in trying to decide which one of said options of the Odin cables would best fit my system as it stands, as I'm usually one whom believe in voicing my system for long term usage, I'd rather get this correctly balanced off the bat.
Admittedly each of my current components being on the slightly warmer side of the audio spectrum, means said Odin 2 Silver based designs, would add a tad more resolution to the mix | and thereby bring about a better sense of top end detail | sparkle | snap which certainly goes a very long way in creating said balance. Yet, I'm totally confused when it comes to selecting either the Odin 2 Silver or Odin Gold SCs?, as listening solely to the Odin Gold IC's and power cord on my DAC, sounds wonderful. And I'm hoping someone chimes in more on both the power cords and IC's, it would be a great service to know more on both.
No matter what?, this has once again " for me " proven to be a very very insightful venture, thanks again Kanedak ( Rolox ) for capturing my imagination enough to cause me to follow up and buy my own, as stated 10 cables later, I couldn't be happier with my system.
Okay, that explains the smaller/lighter gauge on the one I ordered which was just under $70. Looks like it'd be more suited for a source component but once it arrives I'll try it on different units and see where it sounds best.

I decided to hook up the Odin Gold yesterday and felt the mids were accentuated. That I didn't care for. I had a taller soundstage, and definitely a lot more detail in the music

Once again, I can't speak on the cheaper versions of the Odin Gold power cords, as I was willing to buy the ones which cost over $200 | placed on my DAC, I'd say it serves it purpose here much much better than a $600 Analysis Plus Power Oval +2 ( pure silver 10AWG ) cord it replaced earlier on | right out of the box offered a very very warmth as well as balanced presentation.Said versions, once again look like the above, which to my eyes has more of a greenish hue to it.

Ok let's talk system synergy. I'm crazy enough to play with 2 audio systems at once. I didn't care for the Odin Gold 2 on my Willsenton R8 tube integrated as I feel it is too harsh and forward sounding. But I also purchased the Furutech cable which is actually to my ears more relaxed and detailed whereas the Odin PC works great with my Rogue Sphinx 3 integrated.
The sound has more meat on the bones as some would say. The Rogue has class d amps in it with a tube pre.

Synergy the long forgotten term used by companies like Linn | Naim, of which I resided in that camp for more than a few years, starting in 1984-1990 as far as Linn Turntablrs went, yet after having owned once again 8 pieces of amplification from Naim, said word still how's true.
As I was just telling a friend, I'm so taken with the Odin Gold PC as primarily used on my Denafrips Pontus ll DAC, I can't possibly imagine it being bettered by the standard Odin 2 Silver, yet I'd be wrong?. Yet knowing that older Naim designs from the 70s until around 2002, were very picky about the SCs being used, I've decided to stick with the Kudos Audio KS1 in said application, yet o upon inserting the Pathos Acoustics Classic Model One MK ll back into the system next month, I look forward to placing both the Chinese Valhalla 2 | Clear Day Cables Shotgun SCs on it, and judge accordingly.
I guess in hindsight, as I mentioned earlier on, the Aurender Server | Naim SN3 | Rosso Florentino Pienza 2s are all on the slightly warmer | richer side of the audio spectrum, so having a little bit of either pure silver or silver plated copper cabling on said components seemingly offers ( or restores ) the overall balance where the system on a whole merely " clicks ", so much so, I'm thinking cabling wise, I've completed said quest, but once again one never knows?, the one vital thing I've taken from this venture is " I no longer believe one has to spend thousands of dollars on cables ", hence synergy | balance have once again become my main objective in creating " My Sound, which enhances Mi-Fi ", as I've no one to please more than myself, let the naysayers be damned.
On an average of enjoying 10-13 hour listening sessions, no only assures me things sound pleasant, but enjoyable to the point, nothing else matters, other than the occasional movie or UFC watching with my wife, life is has indeed be great, yet my one regret in some ways, is instead of spending $6.000 on a turntable, and another $4.700 on vinyl, I wish I had gotten into the concept of digital playback around said period which was 2009, and hitting upon 55.000 downloads, it appears I'm slowing down, as I've found myself becoming more and more selective about the files I wish to but of late..., which in my mind shows process | as I've long known I've never been a completist so every track on any given album, never made the cut.
Once again both growth | logic at some point has to kick in.
Good to know for comparison purposes, thanks. The silver one I ordered is still listed as being in US Customs.

FYI
Listening notes and thoughts on the evolution of the Silver Odin II China
First, a brief on power cords in general. I have owned amplifiers that the best power cords made zero difference in sonics. Conversely, I have experienced other amplifiers and associated sources in which power cords made significant differences - sometimes better, sometimes worse, most often, better in some aspects, and worse in other aspects.
Out of the box, what one first notices is that the pace of the music is faster - don't ask me how or why. I timed the music with and without the new power cable - and the elapsed time is identical.
The highs and midrange are more developed at this stage, with the imaging very good. The highs have some sparkle on the very top, and some evidence of shrillness and lack of tonal balance. Overall, the cable appears to emphasize brightness.
The attack of the music is a bit too aggressive for reality, and the decay is very good - no complaints if the decay does not develop after burn-in.
Bass is a bit muted and almost understated relative to the full sound spectrum.
As a side, I do notice minor aspects of recordings - breathing, plucked strings, room size when a decaying block sound is struck etc. Very revealing.

MP62,
Thanks for taking the time to offer a more descriptive view on this version of this cord, as it seems I was right in pursuing the Odin Gold version | so now I know I'm able to take this one off of my wishlist. Being 5 power cords in, where only three is needed, becomes a reality check when one knows what to expect..., I'm more than willing at this point to stick with what's already in place.
Yet, I'm still waiting to get Joe's opinion on his once it reached him?. Cost wise I still view these cables as something else should at least sample, as returning them for free is a breeze.
Onto either their Odin 2 Silver or Odin Gold SCs then.
I'm also curious about the Gold speaker cables, but I'm afraid the gauge is going to be very small, as they seem, on picture at least, to be using the same wires as the interconnects (hopefully more of them). I'd really love to read some buyer review before ever considering them.
As I already said, there seems to be more discrepancies in the Gold range of products. I never had to return a Odin 1 IC, for example. Some were better but none were bad. But I just returned 3 pairs of Gold ICs.

It seems to be about the same diameter as the standard Odin 2 SCs from where I sit, and seeming as I've owned 4 different brands of SCs where the actual gauge of wiring were around 2x1.2mm or 2x2.5mm, where the last ones were a pair of Viborg VS903s, each played very well with the system | speakers. As I recall, I've had a pairs of said SCs, of less than 1.2mm | 2.5mm | 4.0mm | 6.0mm SCs in-house since 2010:
LFD SpiraFlex | Crimson RM Music Link | Gotham Audio 50025 | the ones mentioned above.
As I'm waiting for the sellers to add more detail on said SCs, which is why I'm waiting until after the new year to buy a pair, yet I did notice one thing in which I've come to love..., it's that the ones I've seen so fourth have silver plated banana plugs on them, as I've to assume from all I've learned on plating materials, is meant to offset any extra warmth, or overly smooth presentation, by adding more snap | detailing to the actual cables, as you've stated your past experience with 3 of the Odin Gold IC's were rather on the soft side, this would make prefect sense to me, as I've long used a lot of said plating types on my SCs since 2016, usually the pure copper based pairs of SCs I'd add.
And I'd think since they're actual a larger gauge then the multiple flat wired harness of the Valhalla SCs, just how bad could they be?.

The first Odin PC I purchased was installed on my preamplifier.
I remember, the first hours being very bright, upfront, fast and detailed, then after a while it went through a completely opposite phase: dull, bloated, with exaggerated bass and vague imaging.
It took a couple of weeks for the cable to sound great, and stay that way.
The second Odin PC that I purchased didn't go through the same rollercoaster, or less so, but it is connected to a CD transport so it makes sense that the effects of burn in aren't heard in the same manner.
I now have a Gold PC on the way, and will install it on the active crossover, I'm curious. I expect the burn in to be another rollercoaster.
Thanks for your description of how the Silver Odin 2 sounded when it was first used. I'm going to give it some time (once I get it) to burn in and will move the power cord between the pieces in the system and hear how it sounds depending on the application.
Thanks again.
Joe
Yes then it will hit Carteret and say on way to USPS and you will not see any info for about 5 days. happened with every cable I ordered until i started sending USPS complaints and then they finally delivered them to me. I'm in Staten Island
