Your original was a 10KDX2 with a D shaft. A 10KAX2 has a slot shaft.

Low HP is the Dremel
Middle HP is the Foredom, 1/8 HP
next up is the Die Grinder air tool.
All well under the angle grinder which could grab that control and sling it across the room, imbedding it in the wall. The Die Grinder would make a nice dent, the Foredom would bounce it off the wall with a scratch and the Dremel wouldn't move it very far and might take too long to do the job.
Properly controlled the angle grinder should accomplish this task in a couple seconds.
