Some folks reject the relevance of measurements but not me. "Subjectively" I have found the extremely well-measuring components produce the sound I prefer.I don't deem 'class' as relevant, be it A, A/B, B, or D. It's the results that matter.
Topping has shipped components to ASR for testing before and I'm wishing they would do it soon for this amp. Please no strawman about people like me being persuaded by SINAD alone; ASR produces a range of tests that one may evaluate in addition to SINAD.

Its good to know what a piece of gear measures but it not the deciding factor when I am looking for the best piece for my system. I will audition gear until I find the one I like best sound wise, because I'm "Listening" to the music that is recorded and not looking at numbers during that time.
Different people have different likes/ dislike and there is nothing wrong with that. For me, I'm just looking for my system to be the most enjoyable no matter what I put on when I'm in the mood for and draws me into serious listening and enjoyment.
What I like most from the Class D amp I have in the Hypex Nilai Mono's is the efficiency, lite weight, and Zero noise coming from the amps. I mean nothing and lets me hear deeper into the music. But, My EDGE M8 betters it in pure sound, deeper more authority detailed bass, and still is my reference amp. It has some noise (Not the amp) but after figuring out where it is coming from and correcting it (power connections), it's almost as quiet as the Nilai
I still love my VTA-120 tube amp and do still use as well. Its sounds very nice and has its place in my system. This will be for my Horn DIY speakers and JBL 4345 Clones which I'm slowly building.
I have heard some good and bad things about TOPPING. They sound very good but I have read some stuff about quality issues and repairs. I was too interested in trying a TOPPING Preamp but that stuff steered me away. I'm still happy with my Transcendent Sound Masterpiece and 6010D Clone preamps.
THAT is a lot of work, not to mention original JBL drivers commanding Gold-like prices!
I do have a nice pair of JBL 077 prism tweeters with original blue diaphragms, but that's as far as I get.
Drivers. It took a few months to gather but I got lucky with the place I bought them from. I had them inspected, reconed, and recharged. I had them service by a certified JBL repair man. So the Drivers and lens are all ready to go. Just building the cabs and Crossovers which I have all the parts for now.
I have always loved the Kenrick Sound restoration of JBL speakers and final sound, but it looks like they use VERY pricey parts. Either way, it will be glorious!
... I've owned several Topping products and none have been a problem.
