PS Audio class D amps are excellent, albeit outside your price range.
Lack of skill dictates economy of style. - Joey Ramone
you'll find he has one listed in system listing.
I'm currently very happy with a VTV Stereo Purifi Audio Dual Mono with Sparkos Input Buffers. Very reasonably priced, completely assembled and with warranty. Purifi modules are being used in some of the best reviewed amps these days. The amp allows you easily to roll your input buffers, should you wish. VTV Purifi is very well reviewed in TNT-Audio. For me it's outperfoming a very highly regarded tube amp. Tubes remain in my preamp and phono stage. VTV has a refund trial period. I tried it at someone's suggestion on a lark, and was shocked by its performance so out went the tubes. Besides the tube amp, I've had high performing Class AB SS.I was a skeptic, but Class D has come a long, long way.

Im currently using the Hypex Nilai stereo amp, 250 Watts per channel. I have a review of it in the reviews section. It is a kit, but very easy to build with no soldering required.
There are several excellent sounding Class D amps these days. One of the best values in excellent sounding Class D would be a used PS Audio S300 which are often available in mint condition for $900 - $1000. PS Audio prices have gone up so a new one is $2000 w/o trade-in. The max trade-in value toward the purchase of a new S300 is $500.
The PS Audio M700 are higher power Class D monoblocks typically available used for right around $1800 - $2000 per pair. New price is $3500/pair.
I had the M700 monoblocks which were excellent but I'm presently running the NAD C298 $2400 MSRP, available for slightly less if you ask.
All of the amps above have XLR balanced, RCA single-ended, and 12v trigger in/out.
[EDIT]: I just saw in your profile that you have the PS Audio S300 amp along with various tube amplification. If you're trying for a tube-like sound in Class D it doesn't exist.

When I switched from tube amps to solid state, I didn't intend to "mimic" the SET sound, but it had to sound as entertaining and life-like as the tubes. I was expecting to find a Class A to win me over, but in fact I found a Class D that trumped (excuse the unfortunate word) all the As and ABs!
Beware the cheapo Class D amps that are built in garages and sold direct or on Ebay. Some may be pretty good, but many are built with corners cut.
