Excellent! It's good to hear these stories of companies still supporting their products so many years later. Sounds like you have a nice day trip and lunch in your future while the amp is being repaired.Glad you found a convenient way to get it fixed!
Manley is located in Chino SoCal and when I had problems with my monoblock amps I was put in touch their main tech "Paul" located in AZ. After describing the problem he sent me the necessary parts and over the phone "tech support" if I needed help during my DIY repair.
Repairing a Manley monoblock about a dozen years ago in my basement listening room:

Thank you for sharing those photos, the Manley's sure are full of electronics. Even at 250 tube power they were said to drive almost anything if one needed, or like a hole in the head they also offered 500s if I remember correctly.
As I'm pretty much a turn on and off a switch with my gear, it was wonderful news on the repair. We will surely miss these guys one day.
Abe, can I ask you how you came to your current amplification, the NAD with Purifi? Looking at your audio history you've had some great gear in the past so I wanted to ask why the NAD? I have limited knowledge with class D, my one and only a Peachtree 300 integrated which sounded ok but lacked the stage and air of my V4s. But in terms of convenience and simplicity class D is obvious, can you tell me what drew you the this particular NAD product? It's a funny thing, as we get older 55 lb mono blocks become harder and harder to live with? Plus with the addition of my latest speaker, 85 db efficiency with a 4 ohm(3.2) rating is not really optimal for tubes even though the 120 watts into 8 & 4 ohms put out from the V4 are not lacking, but? So if I found something with comparable sound quality with I assume better dynamics and easier to live if with I might think it's time to make my audio world simple. Can definitely say the wife wouldn't mind! :)
Look forward to your thoughts. ~d/s
I'll try to make this short but it was a very long journey....I've been trying various Class D amps since about 2002 (along with "traditional" amps). I was more serious about it when we were about to move in 2014 which would force me to give up my dedicated man cave listening room along with the big Manley's. So the search was on for smaller amps that would coexist with me in my smaller home office in the new home. That search included Class D amps.
I heard noticeable improvements in Class D over the years since 2002 but like anything else in audio some were good and others not so good. For example, I also had a Peachtree integrated. Mine was the Nova 150. It didn't sound so great. In fact the older Peachtree iDecco (Class AB) was much better. On the other hand my Wyred4Sound SX500 Class D monoblocks were very good. The PS Audio M700 monoblocks were excellent and I'm finding that the Purifi based NAD C298 are also excellent. I would say they are comparable to the M700's but a little different. The M700's were more typical PS Audio which means a tad bit more warmth and robustness. The Purifi based NAD is a little more transparent and revealing.
In any case, I've been very happy with the past couple of Class D amps in my system. No. They don't sound like tube amps but neither do Class AB solid-state. If you're curious, I'd try some Class D amps before giving up your V4 tube amps.
I have since regained more listening room space since we had our basement finished a few years ago but still.... I'm tired of lifting 50+ Lb amps and waiting for them to warmup before sounding their best.

Thank you. This sounds a lot like my story, moved, loss of dedicated listening room and just plain back hurts every time bend over for more than 10 minutes. Thus my quest for a simpler visually acceptable alternative. My Peachtree runs a pair of LS50s in our office space which is fine but they are not a tube AMP. Your advise is welcomed, for now get the V4 back to snuff and not worry too much about a living room experience that is not the perfect solution but good enough. And now that I have a local technician authorized by QuickSilver, it's all good! Class D can wait, like an EV will too. 🛺
