I have that Lp. JP made lots of good records for Pablo, my favourite is "Tudo Bem!" with Paulinho da Costa and other musicians from Brazil. I also like "For Django" on United Artists. In general Pablo records are not expensive, why not buy a second vinyl copy.
I once read that something went wrong with the recording of one or two "Virtuoso" albums. They only recorded the acoustic sound of the guitar, not the electric sound of the amplifier.
IMHO the most characteristic part of the guitar sound is the attack of the pick or the finger(nail) on the string, the CD cannot get it right for some reason. I have lots of jazz and classical/flamenco guitar LP's. Even distorted rock guitar sounds better on LP.
