I owned my own business for 30-years and from time to time ran into guys like him. They think they've developed THE one solution for every problem and their product and only their product, is the one worth buying. They believe that they must denegrate all other products and make outrageous claims of effectiveness to sell their "miracle" solution.
You can look at his magazine ads and see this first hand. Half a dozen headlines, all in different bolder and more insistent type faces than the next. Too many words crammed into too small of a ad space because he can't afford a bigger ad.
More "But WAIT There's MORE!" claims than a Ginsu Knife ad.
I once saw him in a YouTube video with 4 or 5 makers of similar record cleaners and he basically shouted everyone down. They had to ask him to cool it.
It's not uncommon for a business owner to be so convinced in his product but it's always better to turn over promotion and marketing to professionals that know how to sell responsibly.
