hey Michael,

All my power cords are Chris Venhaus' unshielded twisted pair cable with Oyaide P-079 male and Furu fi-11 ag IEC. these are the same for my amp, from the wall to the BPT PPC & for my phono preamp.

My wall outlet is a cryo'd swo-xxx and my PPC has 3 normal swo-xxx's. to my ears, this is a killer combination.

When i win the lottery i'll swap in all Oyaide female connections, but i don't look forward to the work involved. the Oyaide plugs are really difficult to work with once you get into large gauge power cables. i get scared of the idea of trying to massage a Flavor 4 cable ito a Oyaide P-079.

you are well on your way!! get rid of the DH labs cable maybe, i hope folks don't get angry, its just not musical when pitted against chris venhaus' cabling...

my 2 cents based off direct observation...no affiliation.

I also have the furu fi-15 Cu wall outlet, it powers my home computer and makes my Ipod, DVD backup copies and burned CD's sound much, much better.

is the swo-xxx worth 3x waht the Furu fi-15 costs? yes. Should any of this stuff cost what it does?? NO.
